If you're an LNIB Member and interested in starting a new business or venture, LNIB Economic Development would love to hear from you!

Below are the key steps involved in working with the department to create a business or side hustle!

1. Have an idea!

You don't need to have it ready to go to approach the department. Anything works to spark a conversation.

4. Business Plan and Cash Flow

LNIB Economic Development will work with you to complete your business plan and cash flow forecast. These documents will allow you to apply for financing and grants.

2. Initial Conversation

Come in for a coffee/ conversation to discuss if pursuing your business is the right fit for you.

5. Apply For Financing

If needed, take your business plan, cash flow forecast and application to a financial institution and apply for financing.

3. Planning Conversation

If you're ready to jump in, a planning conversation will take place to determine your timelines, business plan and anything else needed.

6. Set Launch Date

If you have your plan, funds and are ready to go, we will set your launch date and ensure you're business registered and all of i's are dotted and your t's are crossed
